Poor plate form support

After seven months of driving with DiDi, I believe a comprehensive approach is needed for improvement to compete effectively with other rideshare services like Uber. The customer service experience has been problematic, reaching a point where a passenger opened the car door while the vehicle was still in motion. Weekend complaints led to multiple transfers between customer service and incident response without resolution, reflecting a concerning lack of responsiveness.

Addressing map and route guidance issues is crucial. Navigation frequently halts upon reaching the destination, leaving customers frustrated. This persistent problem needs DiDi's attention for a smoother user experience. Recently, I encountered a situation where the passenger's app displayed a different car number and driver name, causing confusion and wasting nearly five minutes to rectify.

Lastly, fostering fairness in handling driver and rider concerns is vital. Incidents reported by drivers seem to lack prompt action, while customers receive swift responses to even potentially false allegations. Achieving a balance in addressing these issues is key for DiDi to establish itself as a leading rideshare platform.

Excellent improvements - well done!

This app has improved so much. There are so many features to make the experience easier, like pulling up a street view photo as you arrive at the pick up or drop off to help find the right place. 3 programmed destinations instead of 2 in a day like other Rideshare driver apps. Petrol discount (finally!) and almost instant cashing out of earnings at once per day at present (hopefully will expand but definitely a much anticipated and welcomed feature to get live cash out!). There is one tiny glitch, in that my navigation terminates before I reach the destination so that I actually have no guidance or house numbers on screen during the most vital 30 seconds when I am approaching the house. Not sure why it does that as though i have arrived when I haven’t. (Just a minor feedback not a complaint. I hate missing the house for the rider makes me look like I can’t read a map .lol. With so many new and amazing features it is gonna take a bit of time to iron out these little things so no stress!).

Keep up the excellent work, guys. It is a pleasure to drive for you and the app keeps going from strength to strength.

Unstable and No responsibility taken

On a number of occasions the app automatically logged me out resulting in losing my turn in the airport queue meaning a 2/3 hours lost waiting.
The company claims that only one is dispatched to one driver at a time but on several occasions the i was unable to accept requests with the app return an error message saying job accepted by another driver. The company runs driver promotions like daily and weekly bonuses, however every time I’m close to achieving the bonus target, something goes wrong with the app meaning I’m unable to receive requests to meet my targets.
I have complained directly to the company on many occasions, while they have accepted the errors are caused by the app, on all ocassions they refused to take responsibility and pay any sort of compensation meaning my hourly rate is around $7.80 which does not meet the Australian minimum wage standard. I did not want to make this public complaint but forced to do so in the hope of getting some attentions by their management.
